Keep the request behind the bill in view
A supplier bill is easier to review when the team can see why the purchase was made, who owns it and what was agreed. Bring the original invoice together with the request, order or contract that supports the spend.
Postver gives the review a common record for source fields, purchasing evidence, exceptions and approval decisions. A non-PO invoice still needs an owner and a reason for approval; it should not disappear from view because it lacks an order number.
Zoho ERP covers purchasing through receipts, bills and payments. Its ERP feature overview is a useful starting point for identifying which purchasing and finance records your deployment uses.
Follow the quantity through order, receipt and bill
A purchase order describes the commitment. A receipt describes what arrived. The supplier invoice describes what is being charged. Review the relationship between all three before treating the bill as ready.
For a partial delivery, compare the invoice quantity with the received quantity. Keep unreceived items, price differences and disputed lines visible to the person deciding what can proceed. Postver keeps the document evidence beside that decision.
Review the supplier identity, currency, accounting codes and tax fields needed by your organisation alongside the match. Use your configured tax treatment and accounting policy for the financial record, with differences resolved before the handoff.
Keep approval and payment accountable
Use a named approval owner or a published rule, and retain the policy version with the decision. AI can help read the invoice and suggest what to check, while the record shows who or which rule approved it.
Agree which Zoho ERP records own the order, receipt, bill and payment evidence. Preserve their references through the workflow so finance can distinguish an approved invoice from a recorded bill and a paid supplier.
Postver runs on your infrastructure, with data destinations and AI routing declared for your installation. Review ERP access alongside mailbox, identity, document storage and backups. Explore the deployment controls.
Zoho ERP questions
Is this page about Zoho ERP or Zoho Books?
This page is about Zoho ERP. If your team uses Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory or another Zoho application, bring that setup to the walkthrough so the record ownership and connection scope can be mapped separately.
Does Postver replace Zoho ERP?
No. Zoho ERP keeps its purchasing and financial responsibilities. Postver brings the procurement evidence, review and approval trail around the workflow you agree for your deployment.
Does an approved invoice mean the supplier has been paid?
No. Approval, financial posting and payment remain separate facts. Preparing a payment file does not prove that the bank executed it.
What should we bring to a Zoho ERP demo?
Bring an example order, receipt and supplier invoice, the organisation and currency involved, accounting and tax requirements, and the people responsible for approval.
