The right amount needs the right dimensions

An invoice can have the correct total and still belong to the wrong entity, department or location. Review the accounting context alongside the original document, before it becomes a bill in Sage Intacct.

Postver brings extracted fields and their source evidence into the same review. Map your supplier records, GL accounts and required dimensions to the way your finance team works. A reviewer can resolve a missing code with the invoice in view, rather than passing an unexplained spreadsheet to accounting.

Sage Intacct uses dimensions to classify transactions for reporting. Use the Sage Intacct dimensions overview to frame the accounting structure you bring to a walkthrough.

Keep purchasing evidence beside the approval

Connect the supplier invoice to the purchase order, receiving evidence and contract behind it. The review should explain both the financial coding and the purchasing decision.

A partial delivery needs a quantity check, even when the order value looks right. A non-PO invoice needs an owner and an approval route. Postver keeps those differences attached to the invoice so the next person can see what was checked and what remains unresolved.

Approval follows a named person or a published, versioned rule. An AI suggestion helps with the review; the record identifies who or which rule made the decision. Read the three-way matching guide for the control behind the workflow.

Give each entity a traceable handoff

Agree the entities, dimensions and transaction types in scope for your Intacct deployment. Keep ownership clear for supplier master data, accounting codes, purchase records and financial posting.

The handoff should retain the source invoice, approval evidence and the financial record reference. An approved invoice and a posted bill are separate events. A missing ERP response needs reconciliation before another posting attempt.

Payment preparation follows the same principle: preparing or downloading a payment file does not prove that a supplier was paid. Keep the payment evidence tied to the financial system, with preparation and approval assigned to different people.

Sage Intacct questions

Does Postver replace Sage Intacct?

No. Sage Intacct remains the financial system of record. Postver brings the procurement evidence, review and approval workflow around it.

How should we handle dimensions?

Bring the required GL accounts, dimensions and entity rules to the walkthrough. Map them to the invoice review so missing or inconsistent coding is visible before the financial handoff.

What should we bring to an Intacct demo?

Bring an example invoice, its purchase order or contract, the required dimensions, an approval policy and the entities in scope. We can follow the record from intake to the accounting handoff.

Where does Postver run?

Postver runs in your environment. Review database, documents, identity, AI routing and ERP access on the self-hosted deployment page.
