An invoice starts with the order behind it

When your team buys through Coupa, the purchase order is the starting point for checking the invoice. Postver reads purchase orders from Coupa so purchasing can stay in the system your people already use.

Invoices arrive from your own mailbox or the supplier portal. The review keeps the invoice document, extracted fields and matching evidence together. A field is traceable to the page it came from, rather than appearing as a number without a source.

Postver checks invoices against purchase orders, receipts and contracts. The team can see what was ordered, what has arrived and what remains available to invoice.

Match the units, not just the total

An order for 100 units does not mean an invoice for 100 units is ready when only 75 have arrived. Postver shows received capacity and the invoice quantity side by side.

In the example above, an invoice for 70 units fits within the 75 received. An invoice for 80 units leaves five units without a receipt. That difference stays visible next to the decision.

Matching feeds a review and approval workflow with named owners and versioned rules. An exact rule can allow an invoice to pass without a person, but the record identifies that rule. An AI suggestion is always presented for review.

Purchasing, accounting and payment each keep their role

Coupa supplies the purchasing context. Your ERP remains the system of record for the bill and the payment. Postver connects the invoice workflow between those responsibilities without treating an order match as evidence that the bill is posted or paid.

For teams using NetSuite, posting follows a sent, acknowledged and read-back sequence. Payment preparation keeps the preparer and approver separate. Your bank executes the payment file, and payment status follows the ERP record.

The same invoice record carries its source documents and decisions through the process, so a buyer, reviewer and finance owner can work from the same evidence.

Does a purchase order match mean an invoice is paid?

No. Matched, approved, posted and paid are different states. Payment status follows the ERP payment record.

Is this a replacement for all of Coupa?

This page describes the Coupa purchase-order connection and invoice matching workflow. It does not describe a replacement for every Coupa module.

Can we use both Coupa and NetSuite?

Yes. Coupa can provide purchase orders while NetSuite remains the ERP for bill posting and payment evidence. See the NetSuite workflow.
